What is auto top up?

  • Auto top up keeps calling credit balance positive and available on your account, so you can always call friends and family
  • It tops up your balance automatically when your credit runs low


How do I turn auto top up on or off?

  • You need a saved card on your account before you can activate it
  • Toggle it on or off at the payment stage
  • Or go to the Account tab, then Payment wallet


Can customer services turn auto top up on or off for me?

  • No. Auto top up is controlled in the app only, so you manage it yourself


When does auto top up trigger?

  • When your balance drops below £1
  • It does not trigger during an active call


How much does auto top up add?

  • You choose the amount: £3, £5, £10 or £20


Is auto top up a direct debit?

  • No. Tesco International does not have a direct debit option
  • If you see a Tesco International payment on your bank statement, it means auto top up is enabled
