Manual Installation with activation code- install your eSIM before you travel, it will activate only once you land!
Open Tesco International app
→ Services
→ Your Travel eSIMs
→ Select plan
→ Install this Travel eSIM
→ Install with activation code
→ Copy code
Then:
- Go to Settings → Mobile Service (or Cellular)
- Tap Add eSIM → Use QR Code
- Tap Enter Details Manually
- Enter the SM-DP+ Address and Activation Code
It may take a minute to install. Please keep your screen open during this time.
After you install your eSIM
Set Mobile Data to your Travel eSIM:
- Go to Settings → Mobile Service (or Cellular)
- Tap Mobile Data → Select your new plan
- Make sure Allow Data Switching is OFF
Enable Data Roaming:
- Go to Settings → Mobile Service (or Cellular)
- Under SIMs, select your new plan
- Turn Data Roaming ON
Rename your plan (recommended):
- Go to Settings → Mobile Service (or Cellular)
- Under SIMs, select your new plan
- Tap Mobile Plan Label
- Choose a custom name
Reminder: Your plan validity won’t start until you connect to a local network when you reach your destination.
