How do I know if my device is unlocked?

Check with your network provider, or go to your device settings and look for a "Network" or "SIM" section — some devices will tell you directly. If you bought your phone outright or it's fully paid off, it's likely unlocked.

You can always check via the following steps:

iPhone:

1. Go to Settings.

2. Tap on General, then About.

3. Scroll down to the Network Provider Lock section.

4. If it says "No SIM restrictions" your phone is unlocked.

Android:

1. Go to Settings.

2. Tap on About phone or System.

3. Look for SIM Status option

4. If it says "Unlocked" or "Network unlocked" status your phone is unlocked.
